Shuttle Bus: Nantucket has a regional transit authority (NRTA) that operates an affordable shuttle bus system during the season. There are a number of routes from Town to Siasconset, to Surfside and to Madaket.
Biking: With a large network of safe and well-maintained bike paths, biking is a great option for getting around for those who are able. To rent a bike, contact Young’s Bicycle Shop, in business since 1931!
You’ll get a bike, a helmet (required) and probably a good story or two. They will also deliver and pick up your bikes at your rental house if you wish.
